ILU

The sketch for this card was from Sweet Sunday Sketch #116.
The papers and ribbons are from the Scrappabilities set gifted by my dear brother (thanks bro for the wonderful set of papers, ribbons, stamps, flowers, stickles.... a scrapbook layout is still pending from me to you).. The sentiment tag is from Hero Arts.. love it.:)

The flower shaped blings are from M's old dresses that I had saved:)..
I had entered this card for the below challenges:
Sweet Sunday Sketch #116.
Square card color challenge

As the blogger was not available during the challenge period, I had uploaded pics to the Splitcoaststampers gallery and linked to the challenge.
I am posting this today since I did not want hubby to grab a look before I give him the card on our anniversary:)

A is for Apple

It was teacher's appreciation week in my daughter M's school and I thought that it would be nice to appreciate the care and love her teacher showed towards her. Also, M just loves her teacher and I felt that she would be happy if she gifted the card herself.
M was all smiles when she gave the card to her teacher and I hope her teacher liked the card too.

I got my first ever Hero Arts stamps and they are wonderful. The Thank You sentiment is from Hero Arts
Quilling again..an A for Apple this time..for teaching does not begin without this:)

The inside of the card says ..

Mother's Day + ICR Challenge # 2

Back to blogworld after a month long gap..
I have been creating few cards and haven't found time to post them on the blog..

This is a simple card I had created for Mother's day (yeah..I am a week behind!!)..but I was able to post it only today and I am entering it to the ICR challenge # 2 -Mother's Day + Digital image challenge. The digital image is from mygrafico and they have some wonderful digital images. I have not ventured much into coloring images and luckily for me, the site offered some cool colored images that I could print and use..it was that simple.
