Best Wishes!

I had not been able to craft for quite some time..either due to lack of mojo or due to work!..I fancy myself crafting in my thoughts, but when I sit down to put them on paper, there bursts my craft bubble!..am sure some of us would have faced this!..
Shruti's post gave me a wonderful boost and I heavily wanted to craft. Thank you Shruti for the love you have shared thro' these awards..
I created a simple embossed card which goes for the one layer challenge at Lawnscaping. I scored the cardstock to get the texture using my plastic knife as the bone folder:)..I also did some stitching to underline my sentiment..loved it!:)

ICR8 challenge was interesting to me as it involved one of my fav..stitching! I had initially planned to cross-stitch just a single heart in fabric and adhere it to the card. The first heart that I made came out quite bigger than what I had in mind and then I stitched this smaller one. I had planned to adhere "I" and "U" as chipboard letters; but then I was so enjoying cross-stitching that I decided to stitch the entire title..and the final stitched fabric size was just perfect for the card!..This card oozes with hearts which makes it cuter:)..

Thinking of you

This time I share a distressed card that I created for the "Distressing" challenge at Lawnscaping. I love Distress Inks and there are many ways that you could use them on your card which I am very keen on trying.  Last time I used it to create a scene (on a card I mean:)) using masking and distressing. This time I have followed Jennifer McGuire to CASE one of her many wonderful creations. I love her cards and they are quite an inspiration. You can see her card here

I inked my flourish stamp with the distress inks, misted them with water using my Mini mister and then stamped the image on cardstock. The outcome was a beautiful blend and I loved the stamped image:). Since this was my first try and also because I have just a few colors to start with, I used just Fired Brick and Vintage photo on the image. I then inked the edges and distressed them with my scissors.
The butterfly has also been distressed and I love how it resists the embossing and I finished off the card with a glossy accented flower and some pearls.

A short and quick post on one of my favorite cards:)..This was a simple and quick card that I created last week and forgot to post!.  I love pastel colors and I was happy to use my new hero arts flower stamps to create this card:).

Just Saying Hello!

Just in time for the ICR 7 challenge!:)..I was inspired by Clare's card and I wanted to case the fun background and created my version with the green fields, blue sky and white clouds..I used masking and distressing to create this scene and I loved the outcome:)

I made this card with my friend Divya Arjun in mind! Its been quite a few years since we were in touch and a day before making this card, I  happened to have a chat with her and that made my day:). I felt that the sentiment exactly expressed our meet after a longgg time!..I miss you Divs!..Happy Friendship Day!
I wouldn't have shared this here if not for JC and Priya (thanks girls)..and thanks to JC's challenge, I will try and make sure this card reaches her..
